What is Old Results and Finding Step by Step?
Old results for the Sikkim State Lottery are the officially archived draw records published by the Sikkim State Lotteries department, Government of Sikkim. Every draw, Dear Morning (11:55 AM), Dear Day (4:00 PM), Dear Evening (6:00 PM), and Dear Night (8:00 PM), is logged with winning ticket numbers, prize tiers, and exact prize amounts in rupees. These records let ticket holders who missed a live announcement verify their numbers days, weeks, or even months after the original draw.
Finding old results step by step means using a structured, series-by-series and date-by-date method instead of scrolling randomly through dense archive pages. Because Sikkim publishes four draws daily across multiple named series (Dear Flamingo, Dear Parrot, Dear Pelican, Dear Ostrich, Dear Hawk, and more), the archive grows by over 100 result entries every week. A disciplined approach ensures you match your ticket to the correct draw name, correct draw date, and correct prize tier, not a result from a similarly named series on a different day.
Old results carry legal weight under Sikkim Lotteries Rules, 1973. Prize claims must match published winning numbers exactly, and the standard claim window is 30 days from the draw date. If your ticket matches an old result and that window remains open, you are still eligible to collect your prize at an authorised Sikkim Lotteries claims counter in Gangtok or at designated district offices.
Old Results and Finding Step by Step Common Questions
How far back do Sikkim State Lottery old results go? The official Sikkim State Lotteries portal at sikkimlotteries.gov.in archives draws for several months; many result aggregator sites such as Lottery Sambad and LotteryResults.in maintain searchable archives spanning 1 to 2 years. Always cross-reference any third-party archive against the official PDF before making a claim, since unofficial sites occasionally carry transcription errors in ticket numbers or prize amounts.
Can I check old results on mobile without a desktop browser? Yes. Official result PDFs open on any Android or iOS device through a standard browser. Many players across Sikkim and West Bengal additionally use the Telegram channel "Lottery Sambad Result" for quick lookups. However, for prize claims the official government-issued PDF, not a WhatsApp screenshot or a forwarded image, is the only document accepted at claims counters. Download it directly and save it to Google Drive or your phone gallery.
Is there a fee to access old results? No. All archived draw PDFs are free to download. No registration, no UPI payment via PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM, and no "unlock fee" is ever required. Any website or agent demanding payment to reveal old winning numbers is running a scam, exit immediately and report to the Sikkim Lotteries helpline.
